I was recently lucky to be taken to this small family winery in the Pessac-Léognan area by a friend who lives in Bordeaux. We spent a delighful morning there with Sandrine, who personally showed us around while explaining their operations and the intricacies of French wine-making while newly picked grapes were fed by hand into a crushing machine. Needless to say the tasting of both, white & red wines was delicious & very good value for money. A wonderful personalised and very local Bordeaux experience.

Had a great tour and tasting last week. Remi is quite a character and it was fascinating and fun to listen to him share his knowledge and explain things in ways that are easy to understand. Of course both the white and red wines are fantastic and it’s always a treat to taste them, especially at the chateau.

I had had the opportunity to have a bottle from this chateau year ago, so when looking for a visit in the Bordeaux region, this was a good choice. The chateau is located in a nice rural area but just outside the sprawling city of Bordeaux. It is quite startling to find yourself immersed in wine country in less than half hour drive out of the city center. They are very welcoming.
