This year Great American Foodie Fest was free admission at the M Resort and Casino and the M Resort had free parking. My favorite thing to eat there was The Connecticut Roll from Cousins Maine Lobster and the corn on the cob. The Armenian Coffee Milk Shake from Lucy's Waffles and Ice cream was amazing. It had the perfect combination of everything I love: chocolate and caffeine. The watermelon lemonade from The Smhoken Pot was the strongest lemonade I have ever had. My friend got three tacos from Pablo's Kitchen for $10 and he said they were really good. It cost $2 to obtain the “Magic Money” card. This is what you would use to load your funds and pay for anything at the festival: rides, food, drinks. There are plenty of stations so it doesn’t take a long time to load your card. It doesn’t seem like you can get a refund if you overload on your card so it’s best to load your card as necessary. I loaded $40 onto my card and then just added as needed depending on what I wanted, towards the end of the night. I spent $51 at the fest not including the $2 charge for the card: $19 for a lobster roll, $5 for a roller coaster ride, $5 for corn on the cob, $7 for Armenian coffee milkshake, $10 for tacos, $2 for Diet Coke, and $3 for lemonade. I personally don’t think it was over prided at all considering these are food trucks and it’s a good festival.
