This is an amazing place nestled amongst the tall Deodar trees the temple location itself provides a sense of inner enlightenment and peace, besides an excellent place for taking photos and selfies.

It is the venue for the War Memorial - the pride of Garhwal Rifles. the wall of fame is so long and wide that you actually need to walk along the corridor to read all the names which have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and peace...when you are here you will feel extremely proud of these people. After paying Homage to the eternal soldiers at the memorial, it would be a great idea to go to the adjacent museum as well!

Lansdowne is a small town in Pauri Garwhal in Uttarakhand in India which is the regimental Centre of the Garwhal Rifles regiment.This is a pleasant place with several visiting places for tourists. The tourists mainly visit the so called highest point called the Tip in Top but the road beyond it goes to the Santoshi Mata Mandir, a place higher than the Tip in Top.This temple is under the upkeep with the Garwhal Rifles people and ther is no so called priest within. A small steep climb reaches the temple away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. the temple is clean and is revered.The road further goes towards the central School.

Nice peaceful beautiful Nature... him Paloma is a nice place .. a stone vibrate. When we touch it.. so awesome but road was so risky for drive but you can go by walk 2 km. From market
