San Agustín Lanquín (Spanish pronunciation: [san aɣusˈtin laŋˈkin]), often referred to simply as Lanquín, is a municipality in the Guatemalan department of Alta Verapaz. It is situated at 380 m above sea level. It has a population of about 16,500 people, many of Q'eqchi' Maya descent. It covers an area of 208 km².

This is a collective tour in which we visited Semuc Champey and Kamba Caves, departing from Antigua Guatemala or Guatemala City to Lanquin to see these beautiful places.  Day 1: 8:00 a.m. Tourist Collective Transportation from Antigua Guatemala or Guatemala City to Lanquín, boarding points can be at McDonal's Utatlan or Westin Camino Real. 5:00 p.m. Arrival to Lanquín and transfer to your Hotel. Day 2:   9:00 a.m.-5:00p.m.Tour of Semuc Champey and Kamba Caves (includes transportation from the Hotel, entrance to Semuc Champey, entrance to Cuevas de Kambay Guide). Day 3:  8:00 Collective Tourist Transport from Lanquín to Guatemala City (Los Antojitos Restaurant, Zone 11, Calzada Roosevelt.), Antigua (Mercado de Artesanías) or Flores. Note: Language in transfer to Coban is in Spanish, at Semuc Champey language is in english.

The departure is from Cobán at 7:00 a.m. and return at 7:00 p.m.approximately. We make a change of vehicle in Lanquín to a 4x4. We visit the Semuc Champey National Park and the Kamba Caves (these are caves with water inside since a small river runs inside the cave and there are two sections that must be crossed by swimming.

Inclusions: Transportation from Cobán (round trip), guide, lunch à la carte in Semuc Chamey Restaurant,, entrance to Semuc Champey and Cave of Kamba, helmet and vest (for those who can not swim)., We leave with a minimum of 4 people.

Exclusions: • Alcoholic drinks • Gratuities (recommended) • Breakfast
