It’s a great house to visit, but in today’s world it’s not appropriate to have birds locked up in tiny cages barely 20cm square as part of the display. This cruelty will anger a LOT of international visitors and it just isn’t necessary. The animal welfare standards may be extremely poor in The Canaries but most of the visitors to this museum will - I imagine - not be local and many - like us - will not like to realise we have supported cruelty. If the museum contacts us I will happily pay the price for some fake birds, if the real birds are released, as they should be. If this is refused, I will consider contributing to a bigger cage. Some may wish to avoid this museum until this is addressed.

The communication with them was wonderful! Eliazar was extremely responsive, helpful, and fast. I went on the La Gomera tour with them, although the tour was outsourced to a different company. The tour itself was great. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the driver was also very friendly. We had enough time to visit places, take photos, and enjoy some leisure time. We had some hickups regarding the pickup location. But luckily the guide was able to find me. Overall I'd still recommend the agent because of their good service. And La Gomera is definitely worth a visit!
