I visited the place on my tour to vijaywada. It is very close with plenty of bus/trains available. Magnificent temples of Lord Narsimha in the city. Three different temples at bottom, on and on top of Mangalagiri hill present different aura of lord. Must visit place.

Bird sanctuaries always amzes me and i can visit them any number of times.We visited this place on 24th Jan with my family members.We hired a taxi from our home town which 90kms away from Kolleru.We reached sanctuary by 12pm and there are lot of birds like pelicans ,painted storks,Open bill storks,Coromorants.Now AP govt reopened boating and it will take 10mins to visit the lake which is full of birds flying here and there with some small chicks as if they are teaching flying to their younger chicks.We spend nearly 2 hrs to watch the beauty of the lake and there is children park also near to the lake
