Simply put it is the best beach in the country. Why? It requires a ferry to get there, which is lovely and enjoyable. It attracts less troublesome groups than Palanga beaches. It is a city beach, right across the bay from Klaipeda city center. It is very large, with individualized beach areas for all needs: family, casual with bars, nude angry babushka beaches, other nude beaches, areas for dogs, and tons and tons of dunes to get lost and find your own place in for a drink or else.
