On a visit to Scarborough Faire, I stopped into this gallery. I found several delightful pieces of jewelry and a beautiful framed collage. I enjoyed talking to the artist/owner. She said that she will be closing for the winter and reopening in April.

The store is full of everything the traveler needs, especially souvenirs and beach items. My husband found & purchased several bathing suits, which seemed to be great quality at a great price. The employees were young internationals who spoke minimal English. A young lady from Thailand couldn't understand anything I said. A young African (or somewhere) didn't know what a Christmas ornament was, when I was trying to find one. A young lady from Russia was very busy folding clothes next to the dressing room, and was helpful letting my husband in and out of the dressing room. Her English was very good. I got a pretty bracelet for a friend, at a great price.

Her dream of opening a local art gallery with the mission to help local artists sell and promote their craft, opened her doors in early spring of 2018. She now assists over 75 artisans providing the area and the region with an array of local art that is an eclectic mix perfect for the art lover. The eclectic local art gallery is located at the 2.5 MP on the Beach Road in Kitty Hawk and being surrounded by some of the OBX’s finest, Art’s Place, SaltAire Cottages, Wink’s Deli and Market and Ocean Blvd, to say we are in good company would be an understatement. The unique beach side gallery features everything from original paintings in acrylic, oil, watercolor and alcohol ink to hand-blown glass art, locally made artisan jewelry for all budgets, repurposed art, functional art, locally made gifts and pottery and apparel printed in house and featuring the local art!
