Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (abbreviated as KP; Urdu: خیبر پختونخوا; Pashto: خیبر پښتونخوا) is one of the four administrative provinces of Pakistan, located in the northwestern region of the country along the international border with Afghanistan. An amazing K2 base camp trek with Trango Adventure. I wanted to travel with a local company in Pakistan as it will benefit the local people and local economy. I chose to book my K2 base camp trek journey with Trango Adventure. They were local, knew the area inside out and ticked all the boxes. Office staff and the field crew were extremely helpful throughout the K2 base camp trek. Enjoyed every moment I spent in the mountains with my Guide and the friendly Balti porters. They provided clean tents and plenty of food. The highlight of the K2 base camp trek was, spending two night at Concordia under the shadow of K2 (8,611 meters), Broad Peak ( 8,047 meters), Gasherbrum (8,080 meters), Concordia is like no place you have seen before. Sparsely populated and extremely humbling, the rugged terrain that makes up Pakistan's Karakoram Range is just as impressive as you imagine. The huge peak of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, dominates the renown Baltoro area. Trekking to the foothills of K2 and Concordia is an absolute classic trek, highly recommended.

We did a 8d/7n tour of the northern Pakistan together with Adventure Planners (our guide was Haris). All in all, I am super happy with their services. They were very easy to deal with, they provided a lot of attention and willingness to help us with unexpected issues during our stay in Pakistan and their price was fair. I would definitely recommend them to others who considering a guided tour in Pakistan.

Our group of 5 backpackers booked a budget 14 days tour to Hunza Valley and around plus Fairy Meadow. Even though we booked for a budget tour, the services provided by Hunza Explorer is premium. Accommodation provided was budget hotel but very clean and comfortable. All meals are provided and was reasonably tasty considering that we are travelling to high country. The guide Riaz and driver Nor, both are excellent doing their upmost to make our trip comfortable and safe. Overall I would conclude that we received premium service for the budget price we paid. Bravo to Hunza Explorer and keep up the good service. Would definitely recommend them to those traveling to Hunza Valley and Fairy Meadow at Pakistan.

One can find pink, white, red, yellow, blue flowers, dancing, everywhere in the northern areas during autumn season. This is the time of year when the trees of poplar, apricot, mulberry, peach, apple and plum burst forth into a riot of color with hues of orange, rust and red. The clear and bracing weather offers the best view of the surrounding mountains

If you are planning a big project in Pakistan I definetly recommend this agency! During our trip we had many logistical problems caused by the strong winter 2018/19. Hunza Guides solved all of them efficiently. The kitchen staff were magicans that served the best imagineable service! I'm looking forward to my next adventure organized by Hunza Guides. Without the brilliant work of Amir, his brothers and sons, our guide/BC manager Sahid and the staff our expedition wouldn't have been successfull... that's for sure!
