Things to do in Jerusalem, Jerusalem District: The Best City Tours

August 21, 2021 Tambra Mccollister

Religious pilgrims have been traveling to Jerusalem for centuries, yet you don’t have to share their zeal in order to appreciate this city’s profound cultural and historical significance. Plan on seeing the major sights, but also leave plenty of time to walk through the streets and simply immerse yourself in the daily life of such an ancient and revered place.

We had Haim Ohana guide us through Jerusalem at a team spirit building day from the office. Haim's professionalism and warm and pleasant attitude were significant and had huge, good impact on the whole trip. Thanks to him we got to know different places in Jerusalem that I doubt we'd find out by ourselves. I can't recommend Haim's tour guide enough! I have no doubt the next time I'm gonna have a trip to Jerusalem, the only your guide I'm gonna ask for is Haim.

I am in Israel as part of a gap year program andJosh from Pizazz arranged and guided 8 (I think) day tours for us over about 3 months. Josh is one of the best guides I have had anywhere in the world. Him/Pizazz are also super connected which allowed us to visit a lot of sites that most tourists would never get to see

This was our second day in Israel touring with our guide, Mickey. It was a excellent full day tour of Jerusalem and Bethlehem with Guided Tours Israel. As she did on the previous day's tour to Galilee, Mickey did a wonderful job of giving us the history of each place that we visited and moving us from place to place so that we didn't miss any of the important sites. It was a very rainy day but we were still able to see and do everything as planned. I highly recommend Guided Tours Israel not only for the great tour that they planned for us, but for the price and communication before the tour that made the day go very well.

The day tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem was very interesting. The group was quite small and we got a great overview of the history and tensions between Israel and Palestine. Amir Call Or was a great guide. I would book a tour with him again anytime. For the Bethlehem part and we also had a local guide who arranged for us to visit the tomb of Jesus without waiting in line. I highly recommend Bein Harim Tourism Services.

Very disorganized and unprofessional. The guide talked mostly about how good he is, how well trained, what a great driver we had, what a great restaurant and gift shop he took us to. Yes, he covered some history, but had lost his credibility with all the BS. Very chaotic at the beginning and the end. Uncomfortable vans. Would not recommend this company.
