No doubt giving five stars to this site as it's a very beautiful and peaceful lake. Well, a lot of visitor, by the way. The most attractive for us is the nesting Bald Eagle. There were two chicks when we were there and one of the parents was busy feeding them

Athabasca River

Every time I am in Jasper I love going to the stops along the river. Enjoy sitting on the bank, listening to the water, watching the kayaks and white water rafts go by. Take a good book and enjoy. The cabins look amazing and I am going to book for my next trip.

Perfect place to go when it gets hot in Jasper. Water is very cold and refreshing with some amazing cliff jumping locations.

Maligne Lake

Reviewed By 520cynthiab - Pencoed, United Kingdom

We did a boat trip on Maligne Lake, the driver and the guide on the boat were very knowledgeable and chatty, they helped make the trip fun. The lake is large and very beautiful, and once we stopped it was very quiet, I liked that there was only one boat at a time docked. Spirit Island was a little disappointing, I think we all thought it would be larger, it’s only small and not really an Island, but it was interesting hearing all about it.

Pyramid and Patricia Lakes

visited in winter. it is just a short drive outside of Jasper, there is a motel, cafe, toilets and lots of car parking, the lake has little boats - that some one has dragged up onto the shore line and they are surrounded in ice - like boats in an ice cube. people were skating, and riding bikes on the lake. such a beautiful spot. you can hire skates there or else bring your own. in summer it would be nice walk to the lake. the trees are affected by the pine beetle and when i was there burning and cleaning was taking place. fun place to take the family on a sunny winter day.

Annette Lake

We have been staying at the Jasper Park lodge for many years and have never visited lake Annette and lake Edith. The road to the area is just before the jasper park lodge gate entrance. Lake Annette has a kids play ground, picnic tables, fire pits, canoe launch and a great 4 k paved hiking trail that goes around the lake. It us a beautiful area. The hiking trail is level and has wonderful views if the lake and mountains
