Although this is the site of a real and relatively recent tragedy, the scenery is truly awesome. Even though I didn't understand our guide she was obviously affected by the tragedy that occurred. The tour was in Italian and lasted around 40 minutes at a cost of 5 euros. It is definitely worth doing the guided tour as you get to walk across the top of dam wall which while scary is breathtaking! This is a must do if in northern Italy!
