Library @ Trikora is a new communal learning facility open to village locals of various ages, from youths to young adults. We hold a well-stocked range of Bahasa, English and Mandarin books categorised mainly into fiction, non-fiction and reference. Locals in Teluk Bakau can also look forward to attending free English, Mandarin and IT programs. External visitors and volunteers are warmly welcomed.

The library officially opened September 2016, but i just got a chance to visit this awesome place. At the front you wl entering ‘Graha Literasi’ which is a cultural heritage building. In there you’ll find a small but very neat museum, including 4 rooms of literacy. At the back of this building you’ll find a tall building, that’s the national library. You can keep your belongings at the locker room at the lobby area, and if needed you can borrow a clear plastic bag for laptops, and it’s all free of charge. On the second floor you can sign up for a library card member, self fill-in your information on the computers then print your queue number for photo n card. On the fourth floor there’s a modest cafeteria. This building has 24 floor and the top floor you can go out to the balcony with an awesome view of the Monument National. Other than regular books, there’re many other great things you can find in the same building, such as photos, maps, multi media rooms, audio visual rooms, magazines etc. on the 7th floor there’s a comfortable children room. It also provides a room for disabled people. One day is definitely not enough to visit the library
