My boyfriend and I did a tour in Sal start of December. We booked this tour to get a general impression of the island. First of all the tour itinerary has been put together very well - you can see all highlight spots of the island. Second we had a fantastic guide, that can speak very well English and who is very easy going, cheerful and chatty. We enjoyed a lot the time spent together with the tour guide, who ensured we had the best experience on the island. For example he arranged we could taste some local wine and rhum at a bar of a friend. But the most amazing thing was that he arranged a private entrance to the Salinas, which at that time were closed for tourists. This experience has been amazing and we thank him a ton for this unique experience. Last also he was not strict with the time of the excursion at all and i believe we extended the duration of at least 1 hour. Had the best time on the island!!! Thanks a lot!!!

Cape Verde is important in the North Atlantic for sea turtles. Currently populations of 3 species and individuals of 2 others can be found. The yellow or common tortoise (Caretta caretta) is the most common species in Cape Verde. They will have differentiated for more than 10 million years. They are living dinosaurs! Sea turtles reach sexual maturity at 15-30 years of age. Postures almost always occur at night. Every 2-3 years, a female returns to the beach where she hatched to lay her eggs. She digs a well, lays about 60 to 170 eggs, buries the eggs, disguises the area of the well and her body to confuse predators and returns to the sea. The puppies will dig their way into the ocean. We make small group excursions to live this unique and magical experience in the best atmosphere and respecting nature following the guidelines of biologists. We are a group of local professionals trained to provide you with a good experience.

Just awesome... Review of: Private full day sailing trip. An unforgettable experience. Lucas and team are exceptional hosts and just do much fun to hang out with. Seeing the incredible array of sea life up close from this beautiful Catamaran, while enjoying 5 star service. Turtles, Whales, Dolphin... This is the stuff of dreams and isn’t meant to happen in reality. And made all the better by the attentive and highly knowledgeable crew. An absolute must do while in Sal. Thank U so much Lucas and team. Until next year!

We have been on our Island tour of Sal today in Cape Verde and never done a tripadvisor review but felt that these guys deserve it. We were approached on the beach by Isaac who spoke to us about the tours that the company offer and we decided to do the day tour of Sal. It was €25 each as part of a group. We were met by our guides Fidel and photographer Marco at the hotel reception and shown to our vehicle. Met other guests and set out for the day. First stop was about 20mins away on a picturesque local beach surrounded by volcanic rock and a view of the mountain known as sleeping lion. We left there and went towards Palmeira and Espargos to see how the locals of Sal spend their day. We were told about the history of the country and both guides were very knowledgable and answered all our questions. We saw the Blue Eye and Mirage which are both amazing natural sites and for the €2-3 price of tickets for entry can’t be grumbled at. Sadly the sea was too rough for us to swim at Blue eye but was still a great place to visit. We were taken to a local restaurant for lunch which I’m guessing have links to most of the local tour guides as a lot of tours arrived around the same time. The menu was good with plenty of choice from local fish and meat dishes. The food was very reasonably priced at around €10-15 For a main course. After lunch we went to Shark Bay and saw the lemon sharks. We were taken out into the water with a local and saw these fantastic animals basking in the shallow waters around us. Final stop on the trip was to the Salt Mine which is still used today and we were able to float in the waters of the mine where the salt content is that high the body floats similar to that of the Dead Sea I presume. We were dropped off back at our Hotel reception and thanked the staff for the day. We both commented that we were glad we had booked with a local tour rather than that of a holiday tour operator as it felt more personal. The fact it was a quarter of the price the big tour operator wanted and we wouldn’t have seen Shark bay was just a bonus. Can’t speak highly enough of All the staff and we have lots of memories to take away from Cape Verde!!!! Thank you

Amazingly organised, and so so much fun! Booked a day out on the catamaran, and spend the day sailing up the coast of Sal which is absolutely beautiful. Lucas and Max were both amazing, and so welcoming. Would love to come back again!
