I love going to this place & discovering the new products they're selling. Before I go overseas to visit family, I make sure to drop by & pick of some of their fresh baked breads (zucchini, banana, etc). They're a big hit with my relatives.

Taconic Distillery

Did a tasting of three of their products -- two bourbons and one gin. Excellent products. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and fun. We bought a bourbon and a gin for us, and we got maple bourbon for a friend. We also purchased their Bourbon Maple Syrup, an item we've had before. Wonderful on pancakes. Peaceful, pastoral setting. Lots of parking. Taste three items for $15. Small bags of chips available, but no food or snacks -- the only weakness. We will go back.

Greig Farm

Greig Farm is a third-generation family farm located in Red Hook, NY. Our farm was founded in 1942 by Marion and Robert Greig, who began the farm with a small herd of dairy cows, an apple orchard, and a strawberry patch, which was open to the public. Their son, Norman Greig, began farming in 1975 and gradually added blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, pumpkins and other crops to the farm. We have always felt a responsibility to provide our community with a welcoming space and sustainably-grown, healthy produce. Our 1850s dairy barn was once home to seventy cows and today it is home to our farm market & cafe, a local craft market, and an art gallery. Our home is your home, and we look forward to the next 70+ years in the Hudson Valley.

The farm itself is worth the visit whether you pick and buy or just enjoy the property. If you don't want to pick for yourself the amazing NATURAL crops are available at the farm store where the food at the cafe is comforting not to mention delicious and you will find friendly people to share your time with and a great selection of grocery items. Afterward you can go feed the goats who are loveable or head down the road to the nursery to browse plants or check out the little koi pond. So much fun for families and after years of spending time here we consider them ours.

The view at Benmarl Vineyard is just breathtaking. The services was excellent and the wines were everything you needed in a good glass of wine. I loved the experience at this Vineyard from the arrival to the end the service was top notch. The food was very delicious, the pizza is one of my favorite which is made on premises. Benmarl have some of the best pizza period. The cheese spread is another excellent choice. My favorite wine at Benmarl is the semi dry riesling this wine is so refreshing. I ended purchasing several bottles. If you are ever in the area this is a must do.

My husband and I had a really nice visit here! We were staying in the area and decided to stop in. We’re glad we did. The tastings are done outside on the veranda overlooks the vines. Our server was sweet and answered all our questions. We decided to get a snack to go along with our wine tasting and the pepperoni/mozzarella roll up was delicious! I chose the white wine tasting and my husband chose the red. All the wines came in little plastic containers which were very Covid friendly!

Never went apple picking before, for me or my girlfriend! We are seniors and felt like children again! They not only had many varieties of apples, but also tomatoes, egg plant, grapes and every size of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. Also they sold goodies like apple cider donuts, and apple cider. They also have a restaurant and bar. They don't charge to go on the property (and picnic) and their prices are very reasonable. Their staff is very kind and friendly. There are free tractor rides. They have activities all Spring, Summer and Fall! Be sure to grab their flyer, as there are many more than I can mention here. DEFINITELY will return!

Tousey Winery

Reviewed By 361nesrinm

We have been to Tousey several times now; and we truly love their wines, coziness, their great Halloween parties, and service. Our new discovery is their lunch time friendliness and the great food that matches their tasty wines. My husband's favorite is their Pinot Noir, while mine is their Killer Red, but if your are there during lunch time, Queen of Clermont (both sparkling and regular) with Duck Pastrami pannini is a great combo. Today we went as a family. Our kids loved their flat breads, and we enjoyed having great time as a family!!! If you are there for some ladies' time, I would highly recommend their Rebellion Rose, unfortunately so popular that it's sold out! Can't wait for the new series coming up soon!!! Tousey Winery is a great Hudson Vally experience with a friendly service. Looking forward to our next time in town!!!
