Attended the show More Than Christmas and it was wonderful. If you live in the Houston area, or visiting I highly recommend you see the show. My wife and I know one of actor’s, but I’m being very honest when I say the show was fantastic. All the actors were superb and young singers were great. The performance was one you thought should be in a major city of top performers, but let me say all of them did their part so well, that I would have paid more to see this show. I had tears in my eyes, because it made me think Christmas when I was young and living with my parents. You have until 29 December to attend. Thank you Vivian and all the others, your performance was Fantastic

Houston Ballet

Reviewed By CPaM68 - Texas, United States

I recently attended the ballet with my daughter as part of her birthday present, and saw “Robbins” which was a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Jerome Robbins’ birth. Robbins was an acclaimed American choreographer, director, dancer, and producer who worked in classical ballet on Broadway and in films. I believe this was the first ballet I have ever attended other than seeing the Nutcracker several times around Christmas. I can truthfully say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The seats were reasonably priced, the venue (the Wortham Center) is great, and the quality of the performance was excellent. (I’m a season ticket subscriber of Broadway Across America which is not reasonably priced.) Surprisingly, there were quite a few empty seats.

The Acting was touching and the charming score was very well sung by both the leading Lady and Gentleman.. The Set was beautiful and the other production elements were also very good. Very Good Direction as well. Nice to have a simple sweet musical fueled by the power of the written word in an age of i-phones.
