Heber City is a city in Wasatch County, Utah, United States. Heber City was founded by English immigrants who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the late 1850s, and is named after the Mormon apostle Heber C. Kimball. It is the county seat of Wasatch County. The original Heber City town square is located on the west side of Main Street between Center Street and 100 North and currently houses city offices as well as the historic Wasatch Stake Tabernacle and Heber Amusement Hall. The city was largely pastoral, focusing largely on dairy farms and cattle ranching, and has since become a bedroom community for Orem, Provo, Park City and Salt Lake City.

I had a 2 hour private ride with Wrangler Mallory. It was an amazing experience and views I didn't know existed. We got to trek through some difficult terrain and my mount, Tucker was a pro. Having owned 7 or so horses over the years, it was easy to discover that their herd is well loved, well cared for and I can't wait to be back in the tack with KB

Stonybrook Fly Fishing

Stonybrook Fly Fishing Consultants is a hand-picked team of some of the intermountain region's most hardcore trout experts. For our astute, attentive, and conscientious fly fishing guides, simply putting a couple of fish in the net is just never enough. Whether you've never picked up a fly rod before, or can't seem to put one down, we can help you get off to the right start, take your fly fishing game to the next level, or just get you plugged-in to some of the most productive trout streams in the American west. Our home base in scenic Heber City, Utah is conveniently situated in one of the fishiest spots in the Rockies. The same copious snow fall that makes northern Utah famous for world-class skiing is also what ultimately provides for such world-class fly fishing. Nestled between the resort-rich Wasatch Mountains to the west and the wild and primitive Uinta Mountains to the east, the Heber Valley is bisected by the blue-ribbon Provo River and is just a quick drive from other gems like the Weber, Strawberry, and Green Rivers and the myriad small to medium sized streams of the Uinta Basin. This is Utah fly fishing at it's finest with guides that are unmatched in dedication, professionalism and skill.

Ok, ok, I'll confess, I love all that there is to see & do in Haber Valley and that is why I moved here 25 years ago from California! As a visitor, you could spend several WEEKS here enjoying biking, hiking, sledding, tubing & ice skating (in winter), float-tubing down the Provo River, boating (3 lakes to choose from), fishing, quad running/snowmobiling, plane gliding, camping, flying, golfing, swimming year round in the natural heated "Crater" in Midway, farmer's markets (summer), Swiss Day's in Midway, eating at different restaurant each night and much more. Who could not fall in love in an incredible place like this! WOW. BOTTOM LINE: (Keep this a secret to yourself...only you!). Whether you come as a visitor or come here to live (or retire) you'll enjoy four distinct seasons of beauty & contrast. The views of Mt. Timpanogos and the valley are breath-taking in any season. MY RATING: 10/10,

Daniels Summit Lodge

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Daniels Summit Lodge when my wife and I went snowmobiling. Everyone from the front desk worker to the snowmobile guys setting up our equipment, to the snowmobile tour guide was extremely helpful and genuinely nice people. This was our first time ever going snowmobiling and the staff and the guide explained everything clearly. They made us feel safe and confident for our first snowmobiling experience. It was so fun and we had a blast. This will not be our last time snowmobiling or visiting Daniels Summit Lodge.
