Gippsland Wine Company

Beautiful wines from boutique vineyards, created by artisan winemakers - to be shared and enjoyed. As part of the Southern Gippsland Wine Trail, we are close to major highways and an easy, pleasant detour on the way to Phillip Island, Wilsons Promontory or beyond. Our Cellar Door is situated at Loch, the gateway to Prom country in the Gippsland wine region of Victoria's bays and wilderness areas. Relax with a glass or a tasting flight on the verandah and soak up the view over the vines to the beautiful Loch valley. Tours and groups are welcome by appointment. We only decided to go the night before and Mark was so accommodating and fitted us in straight away! It was such a beautiful winery with rolling hills in the background. The hosts were lovely, super welcoming and we’re actually going back today (two weeks later) because we loved it so much! Highly recommend!

Gurneys' Cidery

Gurneys' Cidery overlooks Corner Inlet and the wilderness of Wilsons Promontory National Park. We are situated on 70 acres of farmland and have around 6000 heritage cider apple trees. Gurneys specialise in producing traditional dry ciders and serve local cheeses and meats. Gurneys is a must visit on the way to the Prom. We are a working farm, unfortunately this means that no pets are allowed.

Second visit to this lovely little family owned operation. Delicious nibbles share plate and cider tasting board (including their AMAZING ice variety of which we took home a couple of bottles). Outstanding views over the Prom and gorgeous gardens in full bloom. Lovely informative, attentive staff (whom I presume are the owners due to their enthusiasm) ????

AWARD WINNING WINES FROM THE BEAUTIFUL GIPPSLAND LAKES AND RIVERS REGION OF VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA. Wine tasting before lunch was good with a good variety of wines to chose from. A little conservative on the amount of wine in the glass compared to other wineries I've visited. I was super excited to eat lunch as Troy (the former owner of Bisro Grata) was the new chef there and always had exceptional food from him and this occasion was no exception. Nice atmosphere around the winery, staff were all friendly and accommodating and our group of 8 all praised the beautiful food from Chef Troy.

Delicious lunch with friends. 2 artsy comfy rooms inside, 2 outside deck areas or sit out the front under the trees, or enjoy the outside fire. Friendly service appreciated. Men folk ordered the burger, made from steak minced on site - you could tell it was awesome, all the best extras including pineapple, served with the best chips with rosemary/garlic salt. They could not stop raving, best burger ever. My friend had the Korean Beef Bowl, it was amazing and I had the Thai Seafood Soup, so delicious and just bordering on not too hot. Beautiful presentation and good care taken with the meals. The wines were delicious. We ate inside and then took another bottle of wine to the front garden. Lovely surroundings. While casual, was a quality experience. Coming back again and bringing our out of town friends. You can also arrive by boat but let them know ahead and they will pick you up from the jetty.

Stopped for lunch amongst the beautiful vineyard. We sat outside under the sun umbrella. The restaurant had very tasty pizzas and a sumptuous farmers platter for 2. Rosè was perfectly chilled for the warm weather. The staff is extra nice and accommodating. We reached early as the restaurant was setting up, saw the staff COVID clean every surface with soap water. We were family of 3 (21yo son) and z beagle. We all had a great time. We'll definitely visit Lucinda Estate again

We were recommended to pop by Ensay Winery to try their sparkling red, so we turned right off the Great Alpine Road, trundled up a dirt road, and arrived at one of the most picturesque wineries I've seen in Victoria. Jenny was very friendly and took us through a tasting. The sparkling red was great, for sure, but the pinot noir really hit the spot for me. I'm not regretting not purchasing a half dozen, as one bottle went down far too quickly on the first night. If you're driving through Ensay, I'd highly recommend dropping in.
