Rosario was our guide and he was very knowledgeable on the history of the volcano. Took us to some rarely seen lava flows and round some craters towards the top of Etna. Finished off a great tour with some wine tasting at the Gambini vineyard. Wonderful day and thoroughly recommended.

The transfer of the Vulcano tour includes: Departure at 8.30am, arrival at the Sapienza refuge at 10.30am (stop of about 2 hours). Departure for Taormina - during the journey we will make a small stop of about 20 minutes for a panoramic view to Isola Bella and continue to Taormina. Return to Syracuse. Our cars are registered for public use, equipped with the required municipal permits and have free access to limited traffic areas and to preferential lanes in all cities. Free bottled water wi fi. With a couple of friends I made this tour. After a pleasent ride, with a coffee stop, we arrived at Villa Romana del Casale, where we admired the beautiful mosaïcs. In the neighborhood from the Villa, Giovanni arranged a nice lunch at a very good restaurant. After that we continued the journey to the Valle dei Templi, where we enjoyed the wonderful temples and a stunning sunset. Giovanni has an comfortable car, is an excellent driver, is enthusiastic, very kind and is doing his utmost to make you feel at ease. It was a marvelous day. Highly recommended!
