Three stories of really wonderful modern art and a few rooms of high quality souvenirs. Honestly, even if you aren't going to buy a painting, I would come here to buy souvenirs over the Art market. Everything is fairly priced, nobody hassles you and you don't have to haggle.

Gallery 1957 is a new gallery dedicated to contemporary art in Accra, Ghana. Founded by Marwan Zakhem, the gallery has evolved from over 15 years of private collecting. With an initial curatorial focus on contemporary Ghanaian art, the gallery presents a programme of exhibitions, installations and performances by the region's most significant artists.

Nubuke Foundation

Visit Nubuke Foundation for art & culture events: it hold regular exhibitions in contemporary and historical arts. It has regular performing art programs: poetry is on every last Sunday of the month and theatre and drama and other events are held on regular basis by the resident accra Theatre Workshop and many other groups. The shop has artist designed kente and other merchandises.
