Visit Galle - The city resembles no other city in Sri Lanka, and meandering around through the tight lanes makes you even overlook that you are in Sri Lanka. It really wants to walk the lanes of a medieval city in Europe! Extremely peculiar in away. Madu River is situated in the south of Sri Lanka close Galle. The water of the waterway is specked with little islands and the banks are altogether secured with lavish mangrove timberlands that are home to many unbelievable creature species. Appreciate many dynamic tropical winged animals and a couple of crocodiles in case you're fortunate enough. These animals are quite uncommon and don't care for groups.

Super little day trip, we saw lots of monkeys up close as well as have a little fresh fruit picnic breakfast by a little island, boat driver was really knowledgeable and informative. The “English speaking” driver who picked us up from our hotel arrived was almost an hour late and wasn’t very chatty... The included lunch was ok, but nothing special.

We used this taxi service while we were staying in Galle. They were extremely professional, punctual and the cars were clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this taxi firm, they made us feel very welcome and were very helpful and friendly. The drivers went out of their way to make sure we arrived at our destination safely. The prices of each journey were very reasonable and by booking in advance, you can ensure that you are not over charged. I will definitely be using this taxi firm the next time I visit Galle. The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)

After reading a bunch of recent reviews, my friends and I were very enthusiastic about this trip. Whilst the transfer from our hotel was ok, we were disappointed with the jeep. It was pretty beat up compared to lots of others around. On top of that we weren’t offered a guide as mentioned in other reviews. Our driver wasn’t particularly chatty or informative. Throughout the trip we were reminded that we ‘were lucky’ to see elephants as it was dry season. Our driver did go deeper into the park than other companies though my friends and I are can’t agree whether this was to take up time or because he was genuinely trying to find us other animals. A nice little snack and tea were provided though and we DID end up seeing the elephants so 3 stars for that.
