I didn't know what to expect but this was an amazing day. Donald was so delightful. He went out of his way to make sure we saw everything. Dianna was sweet and cook a great meal that we enjoyed overlooking the ocean. It is a casual, laid back day but full of interesting things to learn. I'd recommend this to anyone heading to Freeport.

Hida is a nice person working in a sometimes fluctuating situation. But please understand that while her vehicle seats six, two of those should be children or you will not be comfortable. The day we were with her seemed scattered and we got back to the ship as they were calling our names for the last time and getting ready to pull the gangway. I never thought I would be “that” group of people running to catch a ship.

Charlie (taxi #256)picked us up at the Carnival terminal. It was just the 5 of us, so it was a private tour. Charlie catered to our kids who were totally interested in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies locals. He took us around and explained all about where and how they made the movie. It was cool. He was helpful and polite. You tell Charlie what you are looking for and he will accommodate you because he's a local. He was honest and def worked for his money with us. lol. Thanks Charlie for making the island memorable! We went in January.

How do you rate an excursion that never happened? We booked the transport and then called the number provided as well as a number that was on the voicemail. Then we called the number for the company which was listed on google. No answer for any of them. Well, actually the number from the voicemail was answered by a random person who had no clue what I was talking about. I want a refund. I basically gave $50 away for no reason. Ended up getting a taxi for $14 round trip.

The winds finally cooperated so we could snorkel at Paradise Cove before we came home. We visited twice before that but the waves were not conducive to snorkeling. The owner gave us an introduction and advised us where to go to see the sea life. Many fish at the reef balls to see and sea turtles further out. No manta rays while we were there. We did not venture beyond the reefs to deeper water where there is more to see apparently. Depending on the tide, a flotation belt might be wise which I did rent. A nice little shop for buying souvenirs on site. The menu was limited in the restaurant/bar. Definitely the best place on the island for snorkeling. The beach area was damaged by the last hurricane.
