We stayed in Edmunds while in the area for a weekend of ball games. It’s a cute little town with a great promenade along the water with a great little playground for the kiddos! You can watch the ferry’s and other boats enjoy time at the beach and park area! It would be a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon with a picnic outside the hustle of Seattle

Almost anytime of the day and year is a great time to come here. Ferries are coming and going, People from all over the world come to walk the beach and see the beautiful bronze statues of children in makeshift boats, seals, families searching the horizon. Our favorite thing to do is hop on a ferry, get to the front of the line as you arrive in Kingston 30 minutes later and grab a crepe at the corner creperie in time to hop back on the ferry as it heads back to Edmonds. You can enjoy your sweet or savory crepe while watching the world go by from the deck of the ferry - or inside if it's cold! Don't miss the hundreds of boats moored in the Port of Edmonds docks, or the walk out to the end of the pier. There's a great playground at the very north end and plenty of room to fly a kite or have a picnic!
