Great location to watch MotoGP and WSBK races, all sections of the track are accessible, great atmosphere on the major grand stands. Unfortunately there was still snow in April this year

Sometimes there are moments that last. An initial ordinary day suddenly as a warm reminder nestles in memory. Visiting gallery Wildevuur in the Drenthe Hooghalen can be such a moment. Granted, the location - the vast estate Hiemstra State - in one word called idyllic. And yes, the manor in which the gallery is situated is one of the most beautiful national monuments , and paragons of the Amsterdam School, the Netherlands. This is an old transit camp where 102,000, mostly Dutch Jews, were sent off to Auschwitz for extermination. The site has been memorialized in a way which acknowledges the horror of the place and yet is attractive. Very informative and emotional
