This evening tour was a highlight of our recent visit to DC. Eddie knows the landscape and history intimately and covers both with wit, wisdom and personality. His detailed discussion of the Sept. 11 plane attack on the Pentagon and nearby neighborhood as we circled the area was something I’ll never forget. This is a smaller more intimate “insider” tour with better access than the big-bus tours. Visiting the capital and WH Christmas trees was a bonus on our tour. The ride back to the hotel after the tour was also much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour.

What makes this private tour unique is that will covered almost all the memorials sites and makes stops as we go. Sometimes we allowed the travelers to choose which sites they want to see and those that they did not really care about. And because of the walking distance to some of the sites travelers also choose to skip some of the sites. In this case we don't impose anything on the travelers, we give them the opportunities to choose must see sites for them; and we're flexible in this direction. This flexibilities we have available is what they cannot enjoy with other tour companies in Washington DC. Rather they choose what they want you to see as the travelers.

Just spent a great week in Washington with 10 great lifelong friends. We used Lucky and his service was fantastic. He was on time and so helpful for directions and advice on getting from one place to another. We used him in place of trying to use an Uber to move all 11 of us ladies around each day from museum to museum and building to building. We were so happy we did! He was gracious and kind and patient with us.....just knowing he would be there to pick us up was such relief! He was always on time. Hire Lucky....you will be glad you did!

Any trip to DC requires a tour like this. You are part of the city, you see so much in a short time and the service and support is exceptional. This experience is now my first recommendation to anyone visiting DC. We were three teenagers and two adults and one family member said it was her favorite experience and "sight" on our trip. Thank you Jeff and Ella!

We booked a 1/2 day private tour at the last minute (same day!) and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Mr Map was knowledgable, fun and provided great insight and stories surrounding so many DC landmarks. We've been to DC many times but really saw it in a different light from this tour. Our driver Mistral was terrific too. She was great navigating DC traffic and sharing her own fun facts. Everyone from our teens to grandma had a great time. I would definitely recommend DC Nation tours
