I've been a fan of their work since they were in Valley Junction and at the Downtown Des Moines Farmer's Market. But their new showroom at Mainframe Studios on Keosauqua Way is absolutely amazing! Their primary creations are oil lamps made from natural stone, but they now also showcase stone sculptures & scarves designed from microscopic images of stone. Many of the studio's furnishings were created by other talented artists found at Mainframe Studios and are the perfect backdrop for their work. Light the Earth is a must see stop when seeing art in Des Moines... As is Mainframe Studios with its 40 or so studios. Check their website for hours, open houses, and special events.
