This is the first time I have come across this page and have booked their Homestay in Zuluk from 09/10/2019 to 11/10/2019 vide booking.comconfirmation no. 3188998404. The issue started before the travel even started. Instead of booking in October , the Reservation Manager have booked in September. The Host of Home Stay in Zuluk , Mr. Penjo Lama have confirmed that there are no bookings in my names on that dates. Inspite of an advance and a confirmed booking , now I am stranded with my family and friends with kids. Very unreliable .Except the Home Owner no one will pick up phones on Sundays. For a tourism industry there cannot be any Holidays as guests might face problems any day. I am unable to understand how this site is taking booking and advance on the same dates for two different persons. There is no grantee of your booking. Everything cannot be taken under the shelter of technical hitch. To a traveller what is important is reliability and word of mouth. I am not going to accept any alternative accommodation as i have already a confirmed booking thru booking.com.The question is reliablity which is alarming. THIS IS A FRAUD TRAVEL AGENCY WHO WILL TAKE MULTIPLE BOOKING FROM DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS , WILL TAKE ADVANCE AND THEN WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU THE BOOKING. MR. DIPESH AGARWAL IS A FRAUD WHO IS RUNNING THIS BUSINESS. To the Concerned parties who has booked thru Live away Homes ( thru Mr. Dipesh Agarwal ) Mandala homestay in Padamchen Zuluk from 09/10/2019 to 11/10/2019 should be aware that I have a confirmed booking on the same dates . Mr. Dipesh Agarwal of Live Away Homes along with Host of such Homestay ( Penjo Lama ) is taking bookings from different parties on the same dates and taking advances. No booking is a gurantee as this Travel Agent is a fraud,. Such Travel Agent is associated with booking. Com along with Reservation Manager Mr. DB Boarde. The party who has got bulk booking on the same dates be assured that such booking is invalid as I have necessary papers of that booking and advance Receipt Money Receipt with me. I HAVE PLANSTO TAKE POLICE TO THIS PROPERTY ON MY SCHEDULED DATES OF BOOKING AND SEE HOW MR. PENJO LAMA THE CARETAKER OF THIS HOMESTAY DENIES MY STAY.

This is what Darjeeling Singalila Ridge trek also fondly called the Sandakphu Phalut Trek is famous for. A moderate trek in the Singalila Ridge recomended for forst time trekkers, where you need no trekking experience. Only the love for the mountains and the jest for trekking is essential.

The eleven days expedition organized by Farout Trek based in Kalimpong was composed by nine members. On top of Fabian Tamang, head of Farout Trek, there were two Sherpas, one cook, two cook assistants and two poney-men. The group started off from Yuksom on 23 October and reached the base camp at Tariphuley on 28 October. A C1 just below 5000m and a C2 at 5500m were set up. The summit was reached on 2 November at 4.30 AM by Sherpas Tashi and Richung and myself. The expe proved a success thanks to the professional breath of Fabian's Farout Trek team.

This is an amazing place to have all types of South Indian cuisines. The staff is really helpful and courteous and provide very good guidance in selecting the dishes.
7. The Darjeeling Monastery Walk
Darjeeling has always been under Buddhist influence but the significant change occurred in 1632 when Darjeeling came under the Royal Sikkim Kingdom. Buddhism is often looked up as only Lord Buddha or the Dalai Lama, but Buddhism as has always been prevailing long before. This walk is designed to get a deeper understanding of Buddhism and its evolution in Darjeeling. We walk across significant Monasteries of Darjeeling from different sect to understand the cultural differences in Gods, Painting and Architectures across the region.

Gangtok is a fabulous place to visit, it is very clean and hygiene city, i am surprised why it has not been given cleanest city award till date. People are very cooperative and helping. Beauty is everywhere in Gangtok. People are very environmental sensitive and take care of it very seriously. No chemical fertilizers are used in agriculture it's totally organic food state.
8. The Darjeeling Heritage Walk
Once a part of the Kingdom of Sikkim, in the 19th Century, Gorkhas invaded the region and added it to the Kingdom of Nepal. The Anglo-Gorkha War rebased Darjeeling back to Sikkim. The East India Company in 1835 leased out Darjeeling from the British, making Darjeeling the Summer Capital of Bengal Presidency. Nineteenth Century saw many architectural and engineering achievements, most popular of which being The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), The Town Hall. This walk has been designed to give you a deeper insight of the colonial British Architecture, English Cuisine, Nepali and Sikkimese Culture and History.

9. Walking tour of Darjeeling
• Darjeeling has been a very popular hill station since the British established it as a rest and recreation centre for its troops in the mid-1800s. Situated at an altitude of 2100m Darjeeling is surrounded by tea plantations from all sides. • We start the tour with a visit to one of Darjeeling’s most revered site - the Mahakal Dara that sits atop the Observatory Hill. This truly unique and spiritual place of worship is flocked daily by Buddhists, Hindus as well as indigenous Nature worshippers. • Afterwards we make our way down towards the Gymkhana Club, established in 1909 established as a recreational and social centre. The St. Andrew’s Church stands nearby, established in 1843 and rebuilt once again in 1873. • • We then walk through Chowrasta - Darjeeling’s main boulevard - descend down towards Bhotia Busty where we see the Bhotia •
