A visit to the old Kupari resort is of historic interest and also for those who aren’t old enough to remember the war in this area and for those of us who do it’s a chilling reminder of how a place of pleasure and beauty can so easily be destroyed by man and people’s lives can tragically change .

our party of 4 couldn't take the heat anymore while visiting Old Town and our Hotel, Pucic Palace, suggested we take a couple of hours at nearby Banje Beach we they could provide us with privileges as guests. Smart Move!!. We stayed all for 6 hours and totally enjoyed the crystal clear water, the view and the adjacent bar. Great wait service. One recommendation- bring water shoes to walk on the sand/rocks or decking as you'll burn your feet!!. Great day.
