Andante Vineyard

In the classical music lexicon, andante is synonymous with a moderate tempo, sometimes referred to as “walking” pace. Music is deeply important to us and this word has special meaning in our lives. Like the work in our vineyard and winery, andante describes a movement within a symphony or concerto where the tempo changes to a calming cadence. This, we have found, is the rhythm of Andante Vineyard. Our vines have moderate vigor — a highly desirable trait — thanks to our shallow soils and the cooling winds from the Pacific Ocean. Our balanced wines have moderate alcohol. Our work in the vineyard and winery is done mindfully, carefully, and without rushing, at a moderate tempo. You can find us with our fellow vineyard friends within the Van Duzer corridor. We hope to see you soon!

Loved the vineyard, enjoyed the drive and the owner was awesome! The wine tho is why I am here. It is absolutely amazing, my wife and I went and tasted their wine and enjoyed the whole experience. The flavor of Dave’s wine is smooth and enjoyable. We enjoyed ourselves so much and loved the taste that we signed up for his membership wine subscription. Can’t wait for our December shipment! 10/10 would recommend!

Oregon vineyards are Pinot Noir. And, Illahe does Pinot proud. However, their sparkling Rosé is out of this world. Talk about a patio pounder wine! Add to the really nice juice, the views and general ambiance of the vineyard and surrounding lands - and you are in for an awesome afternoon. Illahe has done a nice job making things work in the age of social distancing and outdoor only wine tasting. My only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint - I wish they had food at the tasting room. Alas, next time we’ll plan ahead with our own picnic lunch. We went for a friends very small gathering (6 adults) birthday party on the tables overlooking the vines. It was a sunny, warm early September day - and, it was picture perfect idyllic. I love Oregon so much!!
