Red Arrow Brewing Company

Stopped by on a lovely sunny Thanksgiving weekend. Sampled a flight including guest hazy pale ale from Nanaimo. Great beer, friendly and knowledgeable staff and Covid precautions in play. Warm patio and Taco truck providing cheap, tasty snacks. I can really recommend the pork belly and fish tacos. Don’t miss this as you drive past on the highway just south of Duncan.

Cow Bay Pub

Reviewed By Hexthorpe - Cowichan Bay, Canada

Saturday evening my wife and I went to the Cow Bay Cafe for “Date Night” I had the three course special with wine pairing which I thought at $48.00 great value. I chose the clam chowder, seafood fettuccini and the creme brûlée. Each of of my courses were excellent. My wife had a starter of scallops and pork belly. Her main was the starter sized roasted garlic caesar salad with grilled chicken. She said the scallops and pork belly were the best she has ever had. Her starter size caesar salad and chicken was a very generous portion and also excellent. Julia our server was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant has good social distancing. We will certainly be returning there. Another great restaurant we are so lucky to have in Cowichan Bay.
