A very interesting place, educational as well as a place to enjoy peaceful family time. 2 for 1 ticket price through the Irish Heritage leaflet made the cost exceptional and well worth the visit. The horses are so well looked after, the information is interesting and the grounds are immaculately kept. The Japanese garden is an added bonus, peace and tranquility await, a visual piece of art in every corner, vibrant colours abundant in every space, purity at its best! The cafe is lovely, serving delicious food, especially the cake/dessert selection. Worth a visit if in Co Kildare.

This is literally just up the road from me and I finally popped in that restrictions lifted a little and they have reopened. A wonderful warm welcome by the guy in the till. I explained it was my first visit he explained the place, gallery, gardens, outdoor seating etc. Also explained the menu. I just grabbed takeaway but the lemon tart was amazing. Not too bitter and the most perfect base. Coffee excellent. Ambience and gardens superb. A menu based on local and their own grown produce. I'll definitely be back with family in tow. I've read a few of the reviews, I'm a big TripAdvisor fan but unfortunately use it more for myself than I do leaving well deserved reviews. Please note if someone has something terrible to say and its their first time to ever leave a reviews this is SUSPECT. So you never use TripAdvisor but all of a sudden you are straight on to slate a place? From seeing these in the past my best guess is its the competition or disgruntled staff or just @ssholes !! Please read my other reviews im the first to dish out criticism when its deserved but this place....no way!!! 5 stars all the way. Delighted I tried it, ill be a regular now, keep me a seat in the sun!
