Wonderful location, very friendly service, and delicious, affordable wine. What more could you ask for? We visited during Covid and like many tourist areas, the wine region around Nemea has not had many guests and they were not expecting visitors. Nonetheless the host put on a lovely (free) tasting just for my partner and I, and as the kitchen was closed, brought us three delicious varieties of grapes fresh from their vines for us to eat. We sat on the patio looking up at the monastery on the rock and were utterly delighted with our choice. Highly recommended.

Barafakas winery

Barafaka family has been active in the field of viticulture since 1920 in the area of Nemea, where our grandparents cultivated vines due to the history of our region and especially of our family. As we were children, we were into the vineyards, we were playing and grew up there. The same happened with our parents and us, the same will happen with our children!
