A lovely traditional pub just across from youth hostel. Great Theakstons' beer and a choice of seven fish dishes for Friday supper. Wonderful to sit outside

Had a great weekend at Mitton Hall. The staff are all amazing and really hard working - special mention to Sam and Jenny - thanks for looking after us! The food is spectacular to from breakfast through to dinner. The hotel has a very relaxing vibe set in the middle of the beautiful Ribble Valley Will return soon!

Pulled up outside the and as soon as my friend, Claire,, unloaded my wheelchair 2 customers who were drinking outside nipped in the pub and came out with a ramp for me to enter, Nice friendly landlord and staff and a choice of 10 real ales, heaven on earth. There is also a roomy and well laid out disabled toilet with facilities for washing and changing babies. All this and the best yet to come, 4 hours of stunning Irish traditional music, some great songs and singing and great craic. When we came to leave, the bar area was quite crowded but the people moved stools and tables to make my journey to the door obstacle free and the ramp was in place when I got there. It’s the most wheelchair friendly pub I’ve ever been in. Many thanks to the landlord and his staff, the musicians and singer,, the clientele and, most of all, to the little girl who tapped me on the shoulder after I had sung a song and said ‘ I think you’re a really good singer”. What truly wonderful afternoon, if you like real ale or Irish Trad music or like m, you like both, try this place, the sessions are on every fortnight on a Sunday 2-30 pm-6-30 pm, see you there

We booked a table for 2 and a dog and found the whole set up very professional. The pub itself is very well kept and in time with the local village, parking to the rear and front and located in a perfect position to soak up the Lancashire sunshine. The food was lovely i selected a fish finger sandwich and a lovely ice cold pint of peroni. The service was excellent from the manager to the waitresses, very happy we chose the waddington arms for a meal and a place we would highly recommend.
Traditional local pub serving real ale as well as the usual keg offerings. Pie, peas and a pint deal from £5. Live sports, pool, darts etc. Occasional live music and dj.

Nice to see a traditional pub without introducing too much modern, cold decor. It doesn't seem to have changed since our last visit many yrs ago, which we liked. If you want a good beer, pool & check out the sport, its for you. The bar staff also very friendly.
