The church is located in the central part of Ivanova Korita, at a location where the Crnojevic Monastery once stood. It was renewed in the 17th century, but the Monastery was destroyed in a fire, and its single-domed Church of Holy Transfiguration was erected in the late 19th century on its foundations. A large "guvno" (stone circle courtyard), as well as the stone remains of the former monastery's dormitory, are located in its vicinity.
