There are some military festivals there: «The Day of Borodino» - Russian celebration, dedicated to anniversary of the Borodino battle, with reproduction of battle`s episodes – about 1000 infantrymen, 25 cannons, 120 riders dressed in uniform of the Russian and French armies. The first Sunday of September. «A Victory Day» - the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, is accompanied by arranging a celebration in honour of veterans and public performance of forces of the Russian army. The 9th of May. «Moscow is behind us. 1941». – Is dedicated to anniversary of battles with fascist invaders on the Borodino field in 1941, with prayer for the dead fighters and reconstruction of the episode of military operations of World War II. The second Sunday of October. «The Steadfast tin soldier» - holiday for children and teenagers which includes visiting of the museum, soldier`s lunch, performance of military-historical clubs of 1812 and paratroopers.
