Centennial Center Park

Reviewed By puppy9385 - San Diego, United States

Visited Centennial park as a family. I think it has the best playgrounds for kids ages 4-10. Also has a water park and great open spaces to have a picnic or play with your dog. The park has restrooms and a water fountain. Very popular even on weekdays. Has a sidewalk which wraps around the park which makes it easier to watch your kids. It is also near some hotels so it is convenient for travelers. Family loved going there and will be back! Best park ever!

I'm from the East Coast so my experience with skiing and snowboarding is minimal. I traveled to Denver for business and was interested in trying to hit the slopes while in town. Given that lift tickets were ~$200 I opted for Snobahn lessons instead. I chose to do an hour of lessons which ended up being about $75 which included all the gear you need. The instructors were fantastic, extremely patient and did a great job explaining things in a variety of ways until it stuck. The lessons were moderately paced; not feeling rushed but a good tempo where you covered everything expected for that lesson. Even if you don't take lessons with these folks, I recommend at least stopping by and checking the place out. The large conveyor belts that simulate skiing is awesome and watching people ski and snowboard was alot of fun. There are drinks available for purchase which makes watching even better.
