Pescador Island

Crystal clear water, many fishes and colorful corals. Less than hour by boat from Moalboal shores. Get wet-suite or rash-guard during the jellyfish season.

Sumilon Island

This island hop was not on the list, but we did it anyway. We went out towards the evening on the last boat out to the island, and it was calm with few people snorkeling. We got to snorkel around see fish and a few corals. I highly recommend as it is a short boat ride over and you can relax on the beach.

Olango Island

Reviewed By aamart1969 - Cebu City, Philippines

Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary ... is found on the far southern west end of Olango island To get to Olango Island , you can catch a Filipino Pumpboat - P15 from Angasil Port , on the far side of Mactan island From the port you can catch a Tricycle P120 each way ( might have overpaid ) On the day I visited ... disappointedly the bird life was few & far between ( check bird migration seasons for more sightings ) Entrance is P100 each with group guides To hopefully see more of the bird life , you need to walk along the raised footpath out to the Bird Viewing Deck ... even thou a little awkward at some places , I liked the idea , as around each individual cement slab , there were schools of baby fish , using the path for shelter & food

Virgin Island

Reviewed By SuperMarlou - Makati, Philippines

Entrance Fee: PhP500 (traveled solo) Your stay in Virgin Island is worth your time. You can just stay here (for half a day, if you want) and skip going to Hilantagaan Island (there is nothing much to see in Hilantagaan...sorry to say). Beach bumming at it's finest at the back/farthest portion of the island (Swear! You will be mesmerized how crystal clear the water is.)
