Things to do in Cartagena, Bolivar Department: The Best Lessons & Workshops

April 18, 2022 Tambra Mccollister

Cartagena, a gorgeous fishing village on Colombia's Caribbean coast, has excellent beaches, a historic old town (that's entirely walkable) and beautiful colonial architecture. It's also one of the safest places in the country, so it's no wonder it's a popular port of call for cruise ships. Need a break from exploring the cobblestone streets? Stop at an outdoor cafe for excellent pastries and people-watching.

What a fun night learning salsa from Eric! Our group of 4 got to learn some basic salsa steps to practice during a night out. It was a fun hour learning the basic steps and to learn from someone who really loves salsa. After our hour lesson, we were guided to a few bars in the city to try our newly learned steps. We danced with each other and with Eric. It was a fun night and we were able to meet a couple of other salsa dancing fans on our night out. This was a fun night out listening to music and trying out new steps! Thank you Eric!
