Atlas Pearls is a world leader in eco-pearling of the South Sea Pearl. The North Bali farm is the hatchery of Atlas Pearls where the company breeds the oysters, which after seeding are sent to East Indonesia where waters are more pure and full of nutrients. The farm tour includes a thorough explanation of the hatchery's activities, a educational video and a live seeding operation. Pearl grading is explained and guests can see and compare pearls according to grade (the 5'S's: shade, shine, size, surface, shape). The farm tour does not include a boat tour, as there is very little to see but lines of rope. We welcome groups and individuals daily from 10:00 to 16:00. Our boutique shows our fine jewelry collections, the young and trendy 'surfed' collections and classic strands and studs for those who want to bring back home the North Bali souvenir of choice.
