Birla Mandir, Bhopal is a twin pleasure not only the temple but also has a museum, which has a fine collection of ancient sculptures that date back to 12th century. It is Situated on top of Arera Hills, one of the best locations in bhopal. The temple dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and also known as, Laxmi-NarayanTemple. The temple amazes you with its sandy-yellowish shade and the rich greenery around. This temple is one in the Birla Temple Series and do visit to see it's style and architecture.

I went to Gohar Mahal. The palace was built with a perfect blend of Hindu and Mughal styles of architecture. Gohar Mahal has lost some of its original charm over the years, but it is undergoing restoration which will bring back its grandeur. It is great place to go.

Have crossed this bridge enroute to MP Nagar and the DB Mall a great many times, but never stopped to admire the lovely views from it. Finally today, I decided to stop on the bridge and see the Upper Lake from it. The bridge is the evening haunt of most Bhopalies, who love to stroll along it enjoying the lovely breeze. Just the place to spend an evening walk post dinner, if you do not mind the traffic flowing close to you. Keep to the walkways on side of the bridge and do not step into the traffic.
