The northern French town of Bayeux is best known for the eponymous tapestry that depicts the 11th-century Norman Conquest. You can see it, of course, on display at the Bayeux Tapestry Museum. The cloth’s original home was the Bayeux Cathedral, which still towers over the area, looking a bit like a Gothic wedding cake. Inside you’ll find beautifully detailed murals and haunting crypts. Bayeux makes an excellent jumping off point to tour nearby historic WWII sites.

En vente sur place de : Berlingots, Sucettes, Guimauves, Nougats, Nougatines, Gui-Gui, Meringues,Caramels, ainsi que nos CRÉATIONS : Précieux, Nougat'liss et Sensations. La Confiserie est ouverte tous les jours de 10h à 19h (sauf lundi hors saison).

Lady Nath is as sweet as her candy! My husband and I were on a day trip to Bayeux and we were wandering the town when we stumbled upon Lady Nath’s shop. It was the brightest spot in town. Lady Nath engaged us the moment we walked in. She sweetly offered to speak both French and English so that I could practice but my husband could still understand. She took us around the entire shop, explaining each delicacy, and letting us try whatever we wanted to try. We purchased some treats for our family at home and left the shop happy. We were very disappointed though that we wouldn’t be in town to attend one of her demonstrations. Lady Nath made our day and we would HIGHLY recommend stopping by to see her if you are on the coast of Normandy!
