Things to do in Barcelona, Catalonia: The Best Ghost & Vampire Tours

February 5, 2022 Janette Largent

Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Church of the Sacred Family is a bit like falling through the looking glass - a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

My family hired Cristina for a private tour of Barcelona and Sagrada Familia. She was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and spoke excellent English. We were so happy we decided on a private tour as it felt like we were walking around with an old friend as opposed to someone we just met. I highly recommend!!

My mum and I had the best time with this experience. The walk through the market, picking and choosing the food we were going to cook was fun. We also got to meet other travellers and socialise while eating tapas before we started cooking. The chef was really helpful and enthusiastic which made the experience really enjoyable.
