After friends had told us about their Kili trek we got hooked on the idea of our own trip to Tanzania to climb that famous mountain. The guide of the trek we had been told about also had taken the bold step to create his own company - Kili Land Adventures. So we decided to seize the opportunity and contacted Kili Land Adventures about our tour. Their planning efforts started immediately and we were presented with a tour plan (Lemosho route) that we felt was very sensible and tailored to our abilities. A packing list was provided and many more details via email. The trip itself was very much at stake during the Covid-19 times, but in the end we could travel to Tanzania using Qatar Airways. Our hike onto Mount Kili was an unforgettable experience. Our crew of guides, porters and one cook were the kindest and most supportive people imaginable. They cared for us very, very well; they judged our progress on the mountain and proposed favorable modifications to the tour plan to optimize our use of time and to ensure good progress on our way to the summit. In the end we had some "difficulties" only on the summit day (which was to be expected), but all the other days went very smoothly thanks to the crew's diligent planning of our acclimatization. And finally, we made it to the summit, all four of us, just as planned! It was difficult (I won't lie about that!), but in the end we felt safe and confident, throughout the summit day. The guides were very generous in answering all of our (many!) questions and patiently waited for us to take hundreds of photos. I have the highest respect for the people of our crew, be it the guides or the porters, these guys are some of the toughest persons on this planet. Let me add that after our Kili trip we also went on to some days of safari (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti). Our safari driver-guide was suggested and hired for us also by Kili Land Adventures (although the guide does not work directly for them). This guide was extremely motivated, kind, and knowledgable, and therefore the whole safari was absolutely on par with our unforgettable Kili trip. So if you consider traveling to Tanzania, do yourself a favor and contact Kili Land Adventures to work out a plan for you. You will be a happy customer ...

I just returned from a 5 day safari with Meru Slope Tours traveling to Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorogoro crater. What an experience! Communication was excellent, always responded quickly to any questions that I had, and a staff member was waiting on my at the airport. Service was excellent and really exceeded my expectations. My guide, Ashley, could not have been better! His experience and knowledge allowed me to see and witness things that most may not ever get to see. I witnessed drivers from other companies cut others off and get too close to the animals, making them uncomfortable. Fortunately my guide, nor any of the other Meru slope tours drivers, ever tried to get too close or cut anyone off. Serengeti was by far my favorite! But the other places were awesome as well! I did not want to leave! But I hope to return someday soon and will definitely use Meru slope Tours again!

Kikuletwa Hot Springs also known as Rundugai hot water springs or Chemka hot springs are an unexpected paradise hidden in the desert scrub outside the town of Boma Situated about 71 km from Arusha They are an extraordinary phenomenon, rushing up from underground in the middle of parched and dusty landscape. In fact, the water is not hot rather it is a pleasant temperature! This is a good place to visit for a picnic and a swim too. And the views of Kilimanjaro on a clear day are also fabulous. Unfortunately, the water is full of fluoride which means the local people can’t use it for drinking. The crystal-clear, turquoise waters surrounded by palm trees and winding roots offer a picturesque spot for a relaxing afternoon swim. The spring is actually rather big and over 6 meters deep in some places although you can see the bottom through the crystal clear waters no matter where you are. You can have as much fun or relaxation as your heart desires and your mind and body needs

Inclusions: All Fees and Taxes, Private transportation

7. Full Day Tour - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Kim'zebra Adventures & Safaris

Tarangire National Park contains the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. The landscape varies dramatically from the wet season to the dry. During the dry, the River shrivels to a shadow of its wet season self, but it is choked with wildlife as thirsty nomads wander hundreds of km knowing that they will always find water here. Tarangire’s mobs of elephant are easily encountered, wet or dry and the swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the world. And while you’re here, don’t forget to look up! Tarangire’s pythons climb trees where you find most Baobab Trees, as do its lions and leopards, lounging in the branches where the fruit of the sausage tree helps disguise the switch of a tail.

Inclusions: Bottled water, Lunch, mileage in a 4x4 vehicle with pop-up roof for game viewing, English speaking guide, Parking Fees

Exclusions: Alcoholic Beverages, Personal items (e.g. cameras, visa, travel insurance)

We went to the feet of the Klimanjaro. We went down a mountain to the Klimanjaro waterfalls, it was really challenging and amazing. Hereafter we went on a coffee tour with the local people. We made our own coffee, it was really amazing. We also got local food, it was really good. The people were very kind and they really were open and friendly. If you go to Tanzania you should really visit the mochi people. They are really kind and the place is wonderful.
