Things to do in Antibes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur: The Best Cultural Tours

June 10, 2021 Lashaunda Abraham

You could spend every day at the beach in Antibes and feel you've had a rewarding trip. But make a point of exploring Antibes' Old Town as well, called by some the cultural heart of the Côte d'Azur. Visit the Musée Picasso for its splendid artwork, sculpture terrace, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Later, enjoy dozens of restaurants, or take a quick ride into Juan-les-Pins for its lively nightlife.

I had a fabulous experience with Kultours whose owner is Ingrid. She is an excellent guide and we took a private tour with her for two days. She took us to Antibes , Cannes , Monaco ????????, Montecarlo. She also helped us with bookings at a local restaurant and recommended best photo points and even clicked some beautiful family picture. She is caring and also helped us when my little son was not feeling good due to the weather. She accommodates and adjusts the tours for these exigencies so that overall we make the best utilisation of available time. She is a great and is highly recommended for anyone doing a private French Riviera tour in her beautiful Mercedes Van

The tour guide Parfait picked us from our hotel. He was very friendly. He stopped at some cool view points and even helped with taking photos. He also shared his knowledge with us about the history behind the places we visited including Chanel. We were on time for the change of guards at palais princier which was very nice. I would have liked some point in Eze to visit the garden. Also it was a shame that the F1 circuit was only opened to bicycles, therefore missed out on this. Overall I would highly recommend this tour.

It made a bad impression on me that when we arrived at the Rass winery we were greeted with the finding that they had already closed for tourists today, but as a compromise they would take the trouble to open for us. The winery was not typical of Provence. There are also better wineries in the area, I expected more ...
