Parque Minero RioTinto

In the mining park of Riotinto you can do a different railway journey, penetrate into a mine, visit a real victorian house and know about the history of a totally transformed mining bowl. Everything at hand at the minig park of Riotinto.

Travel on a train and go back in time across a landscape that's more similar to mars than earth, a bygone era of British rule and industrial revolution, we stayed nearby at the Victorian House Rio Tinto which is only 10 minutes walk from the museum overall a very interesting and entertained day out. Highly recommended.

La Mina de Agua

Reviewed By sherryh565 - Canton, United States

This is a fun little side trip while in Ronda, a nature hike in the middle of a city! There's a pretty little garden with nice views at the beginning of your walk, then you descend down, down, down steps and end up (spoiler alert) on a small platform at the water level! There is no guide here, and no warnings about going down the mine, so I will tell you that it isn't terribly hard if you are in average shape. Just do the steps at your own pace, hold the handrail, and be careful on wet steps because there are puddles and the bottom couple steps were slippery when we were there. It wouldn't be too fun if it was crowded and noisy, but we had a peaceful walk through the garden and could take our time on the steps without feeling we were slowing down a line of people,
