We have been up a few volcanoes but none quite as dramatic as Mount Vesuvius , you do need some comfortable and robust footwear as the pathway to the caldera is as you can imagine loose volcanic rock and powder but after about 20/30 mins walk you do reach the top and it is stunning ! Not only looking into the caldera but the views over Naples , Sorrento peninsula and the Island of Capri. During our visit Vesuvius was smoking although we were told this does not usually happen.... so you are stood there and 40km below is the magma... makes you think right ? There are several gift shops / cafes on the way up / down so you can grab a drink etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit but a note of caution , initially we were going to go by ourselves but decided to book a guided tour inc Pompeii and are glad we did as you now have to pre book entry tickets online ( we thought you could pay on entry ) and trust there is no phone signal up there... so many people trying to buy online without success and also visitor numbers are restricted so if you plan to visit then arrange a few days in advance. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending a visit to Mt Vesuvius

Are you ready for a new food and wine experience? This is not Chianti! This is not Montalcino! This is Irpinia. And there is a difference between a driver and a driver/sommelier. We provide the ability to walk through the vineyards, to touch the grapes, to be in contact with nature, to open an oak barrel to smell the scents of wine is not ready yet, to taste wines in the vineyard. Enjoy the tour visiting a winery and tasting prestigious DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) status wines: Fiano di avellino, Greco di Tufo and Taurasi. At the end of wine tasting we visit a cheese factory, very similar to a farm. Don't forget the ricotta and caciocavallo are waiting for us! The last stop is at salami factory to see the live production. The best Prosciutto of Campania is from Irpinia.

Easily one of the top 10 best days of my life. Its been over 2 years since my wife and I did this tour, but I felt compelled to write a review as I came across some photos of the day. We think about and talk about that day all the time. Gaetano was amazing and I will absolutely use his service next time I go back to that region.

Excellent and reliable. Being able to visit Pompeii en route to Amalfi (from Naples) was easy, convenient and very efficient. We were picked up from our hotel in Naples, left the bags in the car (with the driver) while we visited Pompeii.

Marco picked us up from Naples airport and drove us to positano. From start to finish his service was flawless, we were greeted with a gorgeous bottle of champagne and a birthday cake. He was extremely informative and attentive on the journey, nothing was too much to ask. We couldn’t have asked for a better start and finish to our holiday. Thank you so much Marco for treating us so well, we will absolutely be seeing you again soon on our next trip to the Amalfi coast!! :)

At 5:30 pm arrival at the Agriturismo Reale. Visit of the hundred-year-old vineyard at the bottom. Continuation of the visit to the Winery of exhibition and production with the explanation of the methods of wine production. Then we move to the restaurant and prepare the ingredients for the dough by illustrating the processing method. Then each customer prepares the Pizza at his own taste, tasting it with our wines paired with ALL OF THE TABLE ....

The was interesting and very well explained by our guide but a little superficial due to time constraints as we were late due to heavy traffic. Ravello is well worth the visit but the drive in and out can be a little unnerving for some. The steep and winding cliff side roads can make you feel a little insecure.

We stopped here on our way to an almalfi day tour. It was a great stop. Jadda did a great job explaining the samples and the process on how they are made. She was very nice and very thorough. We bought a lot and gratefully were able to fit it all in our check in suitcase.

We did the Amalfi drive that stopped at 3 towns Positino, Amalfi and Ravello. Beautiful Amalfi coastline with breathtaking views at every turn. Our driver Antonio had a wealth of knowledge and was very friendly and courteous. We were the only tourists on this tour as the weather was showery all day but we still enjoyed our trip immensely! Had such a great time in the Lemon and Olive groves and then tasting Limoncello and Olive oil. Claudia is such a great host.Then onto see Bernadetto the Cheese man watching him making mozzarella in front of your eyes and then eating it washed down with plenty of red wine. As if you hadn't seen and done enough you are then whisked away to Lucio's Pizzaria too make your own pizza which you you then wash down with even more red wine ! Absolutely fantastic experience. This was by far the best trip of our holiday I have been back twice now. I highly recommend this fantastic experience.
