Blue Star Farms

I stopped to pick up blueberries already picked. I was pleasantly surprised to see the price was reasonable and they had plenty already picked to choose from. They also had a nice selection of other blues products including pies, salsa, coffee, syrup. One if the nicer blueberry farms I have been to.

This is a charming street with cute little shoppes and some places to get treats for the kids! We found a park and playground to entertain our toddler while waiting for a seat at a restaurant, and there are nice public restroom facilities. The street and businesses were so cute and make an outing in Saugatuck even more fun!

Mount Baldhead Park

Although the steps are steep and you will get a work out, you can take your time. There are places to sit and rest on multiple landings all the way up. And the top had a wonderful view with the option to hike on further.

We stopped to check out the cheese. Very nice and clean. Clerk very informative and pleasant. We tried 6 different cheeses including cielo, novella and lamancho moo. All were excellent. They have crackers and drinks too. I would definitely go back and get more cheese.

Summerhouse Lavender Farm

Reviewed By MomRocco

We sought out the lavender farm and were glad that we did. The owners give tours and introduced us to the various types of lavender on their farm. I had no idea how different the varieties were and the fragrance of each. Unfortunately the terrible winter killed many of their plants so that they've got a year of rebuilding ahead of them. We bought lavender and goat's milk soap, lotion and spray. Our visit lasted about 25 minutes and we were glad to have spent the time.
