If you love all the typical Bavarian food Schupfnudeln,Knödel and all the other wonderful things they make with potatoes, you´ll be happy here. Great salads and sauces. for meat eaters of course, the best dishes in Germany are Bavarian... Bernhard´s has an excellent choice. It is always busy so best is to make areservation...service a little slow but the food makes up for it all.

Schopperalm Chalet- is above the gorge with the same name with a safe (inc children) walking route through the gorge . above the gorge the river is safe to play in. The vhlet has a play area and farm animals and good walking routes / cycling routes past the location .
You cant drive really there -

Part of the Träumerei #8 Boutique Hotel and the quality is on the same level in both - excellent! Their traditional Tyrolean dishes are great - just make sure you come with empty stomach as dishes are large and you just cannot stop eating ;-) Good beer and wine choices and service is top quality. Price level is very reasonable. For something different, try tapas platter made in Tyrolean style! It's great and i quarantee there is enough to eat. Definitely a place to visit - just remember to make a reservation, as it is very popular place!

Where at midday the world's largest and (loudest?) organ is played, Here you can enjoy your meal onthe Terrace. A typical tyrolean restaurant with simple but good austrian food. The name of the restaurant means FarmersPause.Big portions and very good dark beer.

Der Aufstieg (etwas mehr als eine Stunde) lohnt sich immer - der Ausblick ist gigantisch, das Essen über die Jahre gleichbleibend sehr gut und die Wirtsleute bewahren auch im grössten Streß die Ruhe. Dass die Preise etwas steigen, ist halt normal....

After a terrific nice and long walk, we arrived for a late lunch at this beautiful restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful to advise what we should like to eat. The food and drinks really delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere, warmth and surely come back!!

Enotheka o.k. but not a ristorante! Misleading Info by most participants. As a restaurant serving food it is not worth mentioning. But if one wants some good Italian-style antipasti it is excellent. Only few dishes, one main lunch dish, some pasta suggestions and cold antipasti like vitello tonato etc. cut sausage and bacon, tasty bread it is good. Prices are moderate. Quantity is more than average. Service polite.

I am orignially from here, and its always been hard to find a good restaurant with high quality local food and decently priced. This place has been around for ages and never disappoints !
The ambience is traditional and nice, the food though tops it all: fresh ingredients prepared at the moment make it an austrian cuisine heaven. My favourites are the Pressknoedelsuppe (soup with cheese dumpling), Wiener Schnitzel, Veel Goulash and the deer filet, fish is fresh and on the daily menu when available. Try it out you wont regret it !
