Reviewed By 09DukeRecently, we stayed at Misty Grove Resort for a sum total of 3 days. My mother’s friend recommended this hotel and it was our quick plan to cool down after my board exams. Down hills of Nilgiris, Misty Grove is a small joint with nice ambiance and nice staffs. As an accommodation, Misty Grove comes highly recommended. Having a family-friendly environment designed with independent villas, the ambience comes highly rated by my parents who appreciated the posh accommodation. A small game room, a park with swing, a fish pond and bonfire, which me and my sister engaged in the “resort”. Though a small resort, I really enjoyed the cleanliness and their hospitality is commendable. Amongst the staff, Mr. Baldwin (Uncle), the PRO who helped us and spared time to personally guide us to various viewpoints and landmarks, is greatly appreciated for his kind and amiable demeanor. Some other notable staff members were Mr. Mathew, who is the GM was always there at the front desk when in need, Mr. John handling the reception with a welcoming smile and Mr. Kurian from the Front Gate, all of whom were very friendly and hospitable. The service staff especially Mr. Sajeev and Mr. Jayakumar accommodated us extremely well at the dine. The food was also appetizing. All in all, our accommodation at Misty Grove was top class and we definitely recommend it.

Deep Jungle Home an offbeat campsite on the Mudumalai forest border offers affordable accommodation options including Swiss tents, camping tents, bamboo huts for the discerning nature traveler. Surrounded by forests on 3 sides and a stream running along the campus full of greenery and birdlife.

Reviewed By _HARSHIT_GARIMA_121I visited the deep jungle homes a few days back, and the experience was upto the expectation.The extravagant Jungle view from rooms, the service offered by helpers,and fresh green air in the campus was the highlight of the place. everything was so well co-ordinated right from our arrival at the resort till the time we checked out. Since Deep Jungle Homes is a pet friendly resort we took along our 5 year old Labrador retriver. We were offered a cage to keep our dog in while we went out for safari. We had requested for boiled eggs and rice to feed our dog which was arranged within an hour.We also carried some pedigree along. Since we went on a week day we got a good deal for our stay. And absolutely no crowd. Food served for lunch was on the spicy side so we requested the cook to reduce spice levels and it was honored. Onion pakodas and pepper chicken made by the chef on extra order was awesome. Bedding quality can be Improved but since it was a stay completely inside the jungle it was adjustable. Overall a good jungle resort for people looking for a decent stay in jungle and not looking for any kind of luxury.

This excellent property has a collection of cosy colonial styled comfortable cottages surrounded by natural beauty of incredible proportions. The owners/promoters stay 24/7 in the property taking care of all your needs. They provide really delicious " Home Cooked" food in the restaurant. A perfect destination to breakfree from your busy life. Highly recommended. Built as a tribute to William Logan ( 1841 -1914) Collector of Madras under the British Government Civil service who was passionate about understanding the flora and fauna and instrumental in conducting many studies about the biodiversity of the Western Ghats.
