Want to be surprised? We serve a chef's menu up to 7 courses. Choose how many courses you like and enjoy matching wines. We love to spoil our guests with tasty and creative dishes, good wines and neat and cozy service.

We had a wonderful evening with family from Indonesia, Groningen, Oude Pekela, San Fransisco and Sydney and while the 'locals' knew the restaurant very well for the out-of-towners it was a lovely surprise. The food was delicious (doing very well with gluten and lactose intolerances) but what really set it apart was the friendly and attentive service. Can highly recommend it and will certainly go back when we get the chance.

We had the most expensive 7 stage menu, and expected more considering pricing, venue and service which was all high end. Food was well crafted with sometimes very original shapes and themes, but the taste of most stages wasn't one of delight or a pleasant surprise unfortunately. Most stages tasted weak, or too salt, or too smokey, or too bitter, or just awkwardish. There might have been made an attempt to work with pure tastes only, but it failed. Btw, the main dish couldn't be recognized from appetizers etc by size, too small. We dine in top notch restaurants several times a year, also abroad, but this must have been the only below par experience taste-wise.

This is a typical dutch pub/restaurant with a pleasant atmoshpere and good quality food which was well above our expectations. Service merits particular note, as the waitress was among the friendliest, most pleasant and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Her discreet service and pleasant and humorous approach contributed to a great night.
